Norman Gloria, 74 of Plainview, passed away on January 13, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Brunson officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Mr. Gloria will be available for viewing from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, January 18, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Norman was born on December 11, 1946 in Toppenish, Washington to Santana and Guadalupe (Gonzalez) Gloria. He married Rosa Linda Mercado on February 10, 1970 in Plainview, TX. He enjoyed racing cars, playing golf and was quite the jokester. Norman was a hard worker and had worked at Cargill for 35 years before retiring in 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Gloria of Plainview; three sons, Norman Gloria of Clovis, N.M., Rickey Gloria of Lubbock and Hector Gloria of Plainview; two daughters, Vera Gloria and Marie Gonzales both of Plainview; four brothers, Sam Gloria, Jr., Richard Gloria, Robert Gloria and Larry Gloria; six sisters, Maria Barnes, Beatrice Swanson, Virginia Landeros, Lupe Estrada, Janie Arteaga and Gloria Ramirez; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren He is preceded in death by his parents, Santana and Guadalupe Gloria and two brothers, Secundino and Arthur Gloria.
