Nina DeLuna, 81 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020.  A private viewing and interment will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Nina was born on December 20, 1938 to Humberto and Felicia Ortiz in Martindale, TX.  She married Felipe DeLuna and they lived a happy life until his passing in 2011.  Nina was a nurse's aide and worked at Walmart for over 19 years and retired in 2012.  She was a member of Christ the King Cathedral in Lubbock.

She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one grandson: Weston Evan King.

Nina is survived by two sons: Phil DeLuna and wife Laura of Plainview and Steve DeLuna and wife Deane of Amarillo; five daughters: Mary E. Rider of Tulia, Cynthia Casarez, Linda E. King and husband Steven, Nancy Gray and husband Shannon, and Betsy DeLuna all of Lubbock; one brother: Bert Ortiz of Plainview; one sister: Minerva Salinas of Austin; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
