A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Lemons Memorial Chapel . Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home, 206 W. 8th Street.

Morris was born April 6, 1924 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Huber Edwin and Indiana (Martin) Cecil. He married Dorothy Louise Rodenbeck on January 24, 1947. They were married for 66 years until her passing in 2013.

Morris proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a WW2 & Korean War Vet. He retired from I&M Power as an electrical Engineer. He was an ordained minister of the Church of Christ. He loved camping, studying the bible and sharing God's word.

Morris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy and one son, Daniel Cecil.

Survivors include two sons, Doug Cecil and wife Carole of Ft. Wayne, IN and David Cecil and wife Ivon of Amarillo; three daughters, Karen Stow and husband Michael of Ft. Wayne, IN, Becky Estes and husband Bennie of Plainview and Paula Forbing and husband Dan of Leo, IN; 15 grandchildren and numerous grandchildren.
