Miguel Angel Gausin, 51, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Visitation for Mr. Gausin will be at 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am, Friday, August 4, 2023, at Trinity Life Church with Pastor Steve Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Miguel was born on September 28, 1971, in Emiliano Zapata Durango, Mexico to Enrique Gausin and Socorro Quiroz. He married Mary Jane Gonzalez in 1993 in Plainview, Texas.
Miguel was a hardworking man with a big heart. He loved working with his hands. He enjoyed helping his family with projects or coming up with new ideas. He was the type of person that could not say no to his family. He would do anything for those he loved. He enjoyed playing baseball or just hanging out with family and friends. He loved his children and grandchildren and would find any reason to call or spend time with them.
Miguel is survived by his four daughters: Meagan Trujillo (Luis), Lyzhah, and Stevee Gausin of Plainview, TX, and Mikhal Gausin Woods (Darren) of Olive Branch, MS; His three sons: Josiah, Luis, and Jerimee Gausin of Plainview, TX; his parents: Enrique and Socorro Gausin of Emiliano Zapata, Durango, MX; his five sisters: Keta Martinez (Felipe), Maria Archan (Rogelio), and Jan Sanchez (Rick) of Plainview, TX, Patricia Renteria of Odessa, TX, and Juani Sosa (Miguel) of Sleepy Hollow, IL; his three brothers: Luis Gausin (Gabby) of New Orleans, LA, Daniel, and Jaime Gausin of Plainview, TX; and his seven grandchildren: Jessica, and Ja'von Gausin, Adaleah, and Myles Trujillo of Plainview, TX, and Mabrie, Rowdy, and Lucy Woods of Olive Branch, MS.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jesika Gausin, his sister, Claudia Gausin, uncles Thomas, Samuel, and Jose Manuel Gausin, and grandparents, Fernando Gausin, and Nolbeta Chavarria.
