Merced Juarez, Sr., 77 of Plainview, passed away, Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, November 19, 2021 in Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Kyle Brock officiating. A Visitation will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Merced was born on March 8, 1944, in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico to Lorenzo and Sabina (Lara) Juarez. He was a hard worker who enjoyed ranching and working at the feedlot. He loved to spend time with his family, especially with his grandkids.

Merced is survived by his wife: Blanca Juarez of Plainview; two sons: Lorenzo (Misti) Juarez and Merced Juarez both of Plainview; one daughter: Laura (Thomas) Hernandez of Plainview; one sister: Luz Alcaraz of Eagle Pass and by his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters.
