A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Temple with Rev. Bruce Mercer, Hospice Chaplain officiating. Private interment was held at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.

Maurice was born June 10, 1926 in Santa Anna, Texas to W.B. and Pauline (Webster) Seale. She married Samuel O. Smith on February 1, 1947 in Abilene. They were married until his passing in February, 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Samuel, her twin sister, Maurine Seale; a brother, Tom Seale and a sister Burline Seale Selman.

Those left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Richard Seale of Temple and Ray Seale of Thorndale; two daughters, Joyce Lum of Missouri City and Linda Wilson of Temple, Texas; a son, Dr. Glen A. Smith of Belton and five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
