Mattie Inez Davis, age 95, of Wichita Falls, formerly of Plainview, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview Texas.

Inez was born July 3, 1920 in Flomot Texas to Joseph Castle Titus and Effie Mae Fulkerson Titus. She graduated from Matador High School in Matador Texas. Inez married Vaughn Davis in 1947 and they were married for 38 years until his passing in 1985. Inez attended First Christian Church and enjoyed doing volunteer work. She served on the Board of Directors of R.S.V.P. Before her retirement, she enjoyed a career as a Dental Assistant.

Inez was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, J.C. Titus from Blythe California.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Stilley and husband Mike of Wichita Falls, TX and Terri Dowell of Austin TX; 1 sister, June Smith of Weatherford, TX; 1 brother, James A. Titus of Colleyville, TX; 2 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
