Mateo Diaz, infant son of Jorge and Yolanda Diaz, passed away on September 18, 2025. A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, September 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Burial will follow in Babyland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Mateo is survived by his parents, Jorge Luis and Yolanda Diaz; his brothers, Jorge Luis Diaz "JJ" and Elias Manuel Diaz, his sisters; Youvalie Salas, Liliana Diaz and Evana Diaz, his maternal grandparents; Manuel Salas, Eva Quezada and Anthony Suarez, his paternal grandfather; Salvador Diaz, his uncles; Sergio Salas, Daniel Salas, Anthony Suarez, Cesar Suarez, Salvador "Jr" Diaz and Juan Jose Diaz, his aunts; Monica Salas, Elianna Diaz and Anna Yvette Medelez, his cousins; Jazzy Salas, Emmy Salas, Alaina Salas, Cammy Salas, Lauren Medelez, Arianny Medelez, Xoleil Medelez, Savannah Diaz, Max Diaz, Zeke Diaz, Gabby Diaz and Celi Diaz.

Mateo is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother; Ana Isabel Diaz.
