Mary Lou Seca, age 70, passed away on March 1, 2108. Memorial services will be held at 11:00A.M., Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Family will receive visitors from 10-10:45A.M., Monday morning at the funeral home. Arrangements under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Mary Lou was born on June 30, 1947 in Los Angeles, California to Vincent Garcia and Victoriana (Gomez) Garcia. She married Pedro Seca in 1963 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Plainview, they shared 54 years of marriage. She owned and worked for Seca Cleaning Service for 22 years, she later retired in 2011 and passed down her business to her daughter Christina Alonzo. Mary Lou was a very loving and caring person. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren and loved going to Floydada to visit her mom and family. She loved her family deeply and was loved deeply in return. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Victoriana Garcia, a son, Pete Seca, a brother, Jimmy "Hapo" Garcia, and sister, Grace Collazo.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Pedro Seca, two daughters, Terry Seca, Christina and husband Gabriel Alonzo, grandchildren, Vanessa Seca, Pete Seca Jr., Makayla Alonzo, Autumn Alonzo, four sisters, Janet Billegas of Lubbock, TX, Angie Garcia of Floydada, TX, Agnes Vasquez of Floydada, TX, Barbara Perez of Floydada, TX, and two brothers, George Garcia of Canyon, TX and Rick Garcia of Floydada, TX.
