Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Plainview. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Due to the Holidays viewing hours at the funeral home are: Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.; Closed Friday; Saturday 8:00 a.m. until Noon.

Mary was born on September 30, 1962 in Post, Texas to Domingo and Alifonsa (Zapata) Vargas. She attended high school in Hollis, Oklahoma and Plainview. She obtained an Associate's Degree in Child Development and worked for many years as a substitute teacher in the Plainview ISD. She married Domingo Rosales on January 26, 1980 and together they raised a family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Domingo, of the home; three daughters, Laurie Walker, Lisa Rosales, Veronica Rosales; one son, Domingo Rosales, Jr. and eleven grandchildren, Cedric Rosales, Dontae Session, Destinee Session, Raylin Gonzalez, Lee Gonzales, Lucas Gonzales, Jayden Gonzalez, Nicole Reyna, Justin Tijerina, Jeramiah Rodriguez and Sadie Rosales. She is also survived by five brothers, Raymond Vargas, Frank Vargas, Ruben Vargas, Jesse Vargas and David Vargas and three sisters, Dominga Renteria, Juana Renteria and Anita Rubio.
