Mary McDaniel, 94, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019.  A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2 o' clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in Petersburg Cemetery with Pastor Mike Shelton officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview.

Mary was born on March 1, 1925 to O.C. and Maud Ware in Rising Star, TX.  She graduated from Centennial High School.  Mary had been in the community since 1947 and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband: A.L. McDaniel; first husband: Aubrey Shelton; parents: O.C. and Maud Ware; five sisters: Eula Gilliam, Joanna Berry, Willa Rae Marrs, Margaret Swafford and Linna Stark; two brothers: Pete and Homer Ware.

Mary is survived by one son: Mike Shelton of Oklahoma City; four daughters: Elizabeth Shelton of Petersburg, Nan Vaughn and husband Karl of White Deer, Kathy Price and husband Richard of Arlington and Lanell Evans and husband Joe of Granbury; one brother: O.C. Ware of Crockett; one sister: Bett Smith of Abilene; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
