Plainview Mary Casarez, 63, of Plainview passed away on February 19, 2015 in Lubbock, Texas. A Celebration of Catholic Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Rosary will be recited in Lemons Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 6 p.m. Ms. Casarez was born on March 7, 1951 in Karnes City, Texas to the late Jesus and Herminia (Franco) Tinoco. She spent her life faithfully taking care of all of her family as a homemaker. Ms. Casarez loved listening to oldies music, was a wonderful caregiver, cook, was known to everyone as a mother figure, but most of all was known for her devout love for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jesus and Heminia Tinoco, one sister; Maria Armendariz, and one sister-in-law; Rosie Casarez. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter; Lupie Perez, and husband Mark, five brothers; Joe Casarez, Mike Tinoco, David Tinoco, Jessie Tinoco, Armando Tinoco, and three sisters; Sylvia Cansino, Yolanda Najera, and Armira Gonzalez.
