Martin Elias Cano, Jr, 35 of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Plainview. Funeral service for Mr. Cano will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Templo Sinai in Plainview. Viewing will be at 2:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Martin was born in Portales, New Mexico on August 29, 1989, to Martin Elias Cano, Sr., and Nora Pacheco. He married Stephanie Flores on May 10, 2020, in San Angelo, Texas.

Martin was a character and a jokester, who loved picking on people and asking them to send him Cash App. He loved music and spending time with his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Cano of Plainview; two sons, Izaiah Cano, and Martin Elias Cano, III; and two daughters, Miriyah Cano of Hale Center and Zae'Lanii Cano, of Plainview; his father, Martin and Sandra Cano of Plainview; his mother, Nora Pacheco of Greeley, Colorado; two brothers, John Paul Naranjo, and Adrian Cano, both of Plainview; three sisters, Lydia Cano of Plainview, Ismeralda Enriquez of Lubbock, and Jasmine Pacheco of Greeley, Colorado; his grandfather, Ramon Cano of Mexico.
