Martha Mireles, 54, of Midland, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton as Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Martha was born on February 23, 1963 in Rio Bravo Tamaulipas, Mexico.  She was known by many people of Plainview because of her 16 plus years of employment at Bill's Jumbo Burger.  Two years ago, she moved to Midland to be closer to her children.  While in Midland, she worked at Walmart.  Martha was a very happy, kind and loving person.  She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.  She was such a helpful person and always made herself available to someone in need.  Martha was loved by so many and she will be missed.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Plainview.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Lorenzo Nuñez; her husband, Jose Mireles; two daughters, Michelle Mireles and Daniela Mireles; two sons, Jose Mireles and Oziel Mireles, all of Midland.  She is also survived by one grandson; five brothers and two sisters.
