Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 21, 2016 at Trinity Life Church with Pastor Steve Martinez officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Mario was born on December 21, 1971 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Mario R. and Sulema (Hernandez) Borrego. His family lived in Oklahoma until they moved from Gould, Oklahoma to Plainview in October, 1979.

He married Aide Castillo on July 23, 1994 in Plainview and together they raised a beautiful family. He is remembered as a loving father, husband, brother and son. His family describes him as a jokester who loved to make everyone laugh. He loved the Dallas Cowboys. He was raised in the Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of twenty two years, Aide, of the home; his mother Sulema; two daughters, Stephanie Leann Borrego and Jazmin Nicole Borrego; two sons, Alexander Dominic Borrego and Jeremiah Lee Borrego; one brother, Martin Borrego and wife Linda; two sisters, Ofelia Hernandez and husband Pete and Rosa Isela Limones and husband Jesus. He is also survived by many family members who will miss him dearly.
