Maria Rodriguez, 60 of Plainview, passed away on July 16, 2020. A Graveside Service will be held at Plainview Cemetery on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00AM. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Maria was born on January 21, 1960 in Mexico to Isidro and Eladia (Castillo) Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband, Abel Avila of Plainview; three sons, Rodolfo (Erika) Ortega of Hale Center, Jaime (Denise) Ortega of Greeley, CO and Rene (Hilda) Ortega of Mexico; 2 daughters, Patricia Ortega (Jorge Limon) of Mexico and Adriana Ortega of Plainview; her father, Isidro Rodriguez of Plainview; three brothers, Jose and Isidro Rodriguez both of Hale Center and Arturo Rodriguez of Cotton Center; one sister, Gloria Rodriguez of Plainview; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eladia Rodriguez.
