María Leticia Rodríguez, de 56 años de Olton, falleció el miércoles 5 de enero de 2022 en Lubbock. Se llevará una misa fúnebre a las 10:00 a.m., el sábado 15 de enero de 2022, en la Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe con el Padre Bill Anton oficiando. El entierro seguirá en el Plainview Cemetery. Se llevará un Rosario a las 6:00 p.m., el viernes 14 de enero de 2022, en la Lemons Memorial Chapel. Los arreglos se confían a Lemons Funeral Home.

María nació el 8 de enero de 1965 en Namiquipa, Chihuahua, México, hija de Miguel Ángel y Consuelo (Leyva) Arriaga. Se casó con Arturo Rodríguez en 1982 en Plainview.

A María le gustaba jugar al bingo, ver sus novelas, pescar, cocinar y le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia.

A María le sobreviven su esposo, Arturo Rodríguez de Olton; un hijo, Gabriel Rodríguez de Olton; una hija, Brittney Rodríguez de Olton; su madre, Consuelo Leyva de México; un hermano, Miguel Ángel Arriaga de México; cuatro hermanas, Carmen, Sonia, Elida y Anita Arriaga, todas de México.

Le precede en la muerte su padre, Miguel Ángel Arriaga.

Maria Leticia Rodriguez, 56 of Olton, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Lubbock. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 6:00PM, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Maria was born on January 8, 1965, in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Miguel Angel and Consuelo (Leyva) Arriaga. She married Arturo Rodriguez in 1982 in Plainview.

Maria enjoyed playing bingo, watching her novelas, fishing, cooking, and loved spending time with her family.

Maria is survived by her husband, Arturo Rodriguez of Olton; one son, Gabriel Rodriguez of Olton; one daughter, Brittney Rodriguez of Olton; her mother, Consuelo Leyva of Mexico; one brother, Miguel Angel Arriaga of Mexico; four sisters, Carmen, Sonia, Elida, and Anita Arriaga all of Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her father, Miguel Angel Arriaga
