Maria Diaz, 79 of Eagle Pass, passed away on February 7, 2021. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2021 in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Bill Anton officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Maria was born on March 23, 1941 in Mexico to Lino and Natividad (Urrutia) Arenas. She is survived by three sons, Juan and Raul Diaz both of Mexico and Mario Diaz of Houston: five daughters, Santa Zavala of Eagle Pass, Dolores (Cirilo) Diaz, Isabel (Pablo) Diaz both of Plainview, Socorro (Kevin) Diaz  and Mary Diaz both of Lubbock; twenty five grandchildren and fifty five great grandchildren.

Maria is preceded in death by one daughter, Yolanda Diaz and one son, Juan Diaz.
