Funeral Mass for Maria Jesus DeLeon of Plainview, Texas will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel, Plainview, Texas, burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A rosary service will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 from 6-7 P.M. at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel, all services under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home, Plainview, Texas. Ms. DeLeon passed away February 24, 2014 in Amarillo. She was born June 22, 1958 in Levelland, Texas to George and Guadalupe (Zamora) DeLeon. She graduated school in Levelland, Texas. Ms. DeLeon served in the U.S. Army serving in telecommunications. She had a great love for her family, and loved tejano music. She was a hairdresser, and a cosmetician. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Jesse and George. Ms. DeLeon is survived by her spouse Odell Leyendecker; kids Steven, Nathan, Zachary Leyendecker, and Destiny Hudson.; five grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, and two sisters.
