Margarita Garza, 73, of Plainview, formerly of Floydada, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Floydada Cemetery.

A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26 in the Chapel.

She was born in Lockhart on October 18, 1943 to Maximo and Francisca (Delgado) Casillas. Margie married Armando Garza in 1974 in Floydada. She was a devoted homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rebecca Chavez and two brothers, Victor Casillas and Antonio Casillas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Armando, of Plainview; one daughter, Racheal Gonzales & husband of Floydada; four sons, Raul Contreras & wife of Corpus Christi, Richard Contreras & wife, of Floydada, Armando Garza, Jr. & wife of San Antonio and Jesus Garza and wife of Plainview; one brother, Ralph Casillas. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and extended family who will miss her dearly and loved her so much.
