MARGARET VAUGHAN JUDAH, PASSED AWAY ON JUNE 11, 2013 very peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Margaret was born December 6, 1915 at what was then State College N.M. an outskirt of Las Cruses New Mexico - the current location of New Mexico State and what was then New Mexico A & M (the mascot still is the Aggies however). Her proud parents John H, and Cora Lee Spainhour Vaughan, were both professionally involved in university and secondary school education. And throughout Margaret's life, their values were constantly emphasized to her children and grandchildren. She met Frank Morris Judah where they both attended college then and soon became Mrs. Frank M. Judah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; Dudley, Wilbur, & Ed; her sister Virginia; her husband Frank; son Marvin; and granddaughter Francis.

She is survived by her son John Phillip; grandsons Frank Martin, David Paul; grand-daughters Allison Marie Harmon, Laura Danielle Judah, Sophia Celeste Whorton; and great grandchildren Credence Timothy Judah and Claire Elizabeth Whorton.

She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews residing in Wichita Falls, The Woodlands, Odessa, McKinney, and Lubbock TX; Oregon; Washington State; Arizona; and New Mexico.

The visitation in Austin took place on Saturday, June 15, at - Peel & Son Funeral Home.

The Funeral on Monday, June 24th will be held at The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in Plainview, Texas where she and her husband Frank, active in the work of The Church, lived most of their time together. Services will begin shortly after a short visitation at 11 am with Lemons funeral home directing and Dr. Max Browning officiating. In Lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to The American Lung Association or Hospice Austin.
