Manuela Tarin Maldonado, 84 of Plainview, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 o' clock in the morning on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely celebrating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o' clock in the evening on Sunday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Manuela was born on October 4, 1934 to Casimiro and Francisca Tarin in Presidio, TX. She was happily married to the love of her life, Raul B. Maldonado, until his passing on February 24, 2014. Manuela was a devoted homemaker and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts, painting, pottery and cake decorating. Manuela was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Raul B. Maldonado; one son: Carlos Tarin Maldonado; one daughter: Yolando Maldonado; two brothers: Leo and Emilio Tarin and two sisters: Maria Luisa Salgado and Anita Porras.

Manuela is survived by two sons: Jesus T. Maldonado and wife Rosemary of Plainview and Raul Maldonado Jr. and wife Guadalupe of Dumas; two daughters: Diana Magaña and husband Jessie and Josie Garcia and husband Ernesto all of Plainview; two sisters: Elpidia Dueñas of Lockney and Maria Aurelia Enriquez of Odessa; twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
