A Private Memorial Service will be held for Manuel Lopez, age 27. Manuel passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Manuel was born on March 8, 1997, in Plainview, Texas to Chris Lopez and Elizabeth Hernandez.

Manuel was funny and enjoyed comedy and music. He was fascinated with science fiction and conspiracy theories.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chris Lopez and Elizabeth Hernandez, his paternal grandmother, Luisa Aldaba, and his maternal grandparents, Mundo, and Petra Hernandez.

Manuel is survived by his grandfather, Jose Aldaba of Plainview, his two brothers: Jacob Hernandez of Lubbock and Christian "CJ" Lopez of Plainview; and his three sisters: Krystal Buhler and husband Jason, and Sara Lopez and Omero Trejo, both of Wichita Falls, and Sabrina Pedroza of Lubbock.
