Mabel "Nancy" Johnson, 75 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Amarillo. Viewing and Funeral Services for Ms. Johnson will be held at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview. Viewing will be Friday, December 20, 2024, at 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:00am officiated by Elder Frankie Lemons of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ in Pampa, TX.. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Nancy was born on November 27, 1949, in Plainview, Texas to Jim Evans and Ruby Westmoreland Evans. She was a mother of nine children and loved every minute of it. She was both mom and dad and was a hard worker and did what she needed to provide for everyone and raised her children with love and discipline. She loved her children and also loved her grandchildren with a deep loving spirit.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Tonya Moore, Lasandra Johnson, Frankie Johnson, Patricia Robinson and Gloria Johnson; sons; Bobby Evans and wife Misty, Sebastian Johnson and wife Jennifer, Curtis Johnson and wife Erika and Stevan Johnson and wife Erin; one brother, Rodney Evans and wife Shirley; and her twenty-eight grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ruby Evans; her daughter, Farrah Johnson; brothers, Bobby Evans, Jimmy Evans and Charles Evans; one sister, Joann Williams; and two grandchildren, Lasalle Jones Evans and Shantell Johnson.
