Luna Monique Reyes, 27 of Plainview, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass for Ms. Reyes will be at 2:00pm, Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Luna was born on September 14, 1995, in Lockney, Texas to Jose Guadalupe and Maria (Bueno) Reyes.

She enjoyed doing her nails and makeup and loved going shopping and spending time with her family. Luna was always doing activities with her children and was always planning special occasions for birthdays and holidays.

Luna is survived by her husband, Nelson Hernandez of Plainview; two sons, Santiago Julian Andres Reyes and Lorenzo Juan Contreras, both of Plainview; three daughters, Anamarie Nichole Reyes, Iliana Melanie Contreras, and Nayeli Inez Lopez all of Plainview; her mother, Maria Reyes of Plainview; two brothers, Sergio Adrian Bueno and Simon Reyes both of Plainview; three sisters, Mariah Reyes of Lubbock, Estrella Reyes of Brownfield, and Gloria Marisol Perez of Plainview; grandfather, Jesus Felipe Bueno of Olton; and grandmother, Flor Estela Reyes of Plainview.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Guadalupe Reyes, Jr; grandfather, Guadalupe Reyes; and grandmother, Maria Simona Bueno.
