Luisa Aldaba, 81 of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery in Lamesa, Texas. A viewing and visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, August 21, 2023 at Lemons Memorial Chapel, in Plainview, Texas. Service arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Luisa was born in San Angelo, Texas on July 31, 1942, to Bernardino and Sara Lopez. She grew up in Lamesa, Texas where she met and married Jose Gomez Aldaba on October 27, 1979. She enjoyed watching Spanish novelas, listening to music, completing word search puzzles, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and most of all she loved to dance.

Luisa is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardino and Sara Lopez, a baby daughter, Sylvia Lopez, her son Chris Lopez, and twenty-four siblings.

She is survived by her husband Jose Gomez Aldaba, of Plainview; her daughter, Christina Riojas of Plainview; eight grandchildren: Josiah, Kassandra and Kyleen Riojas, all of Plainview, Krystan and husband, Jason Buhler of Wichita Falls, Texas, Jacob Hernandez of Lubbock, Christian "CJ" Lopez of Plainview, Sara Lopez of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Manuel Lopez of Lubbock, Texas, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
