Luis Guerra, Sr., 57 of Plainview, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Visitation and Funeral Service for Mr. Guerra will be held at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be at 4:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday, February 19, 2023, and Funeral Service will be at 11:00am, Monday, February 20, 2023. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Luis was born in Lockney, Texas to Donicio and Maria Christina Guerra on February 28, 1965. He married Gloria Hernandez on September 28, 1984, in Plainview.

Luis was a welder. He enjoyed collecting knives, welding, and working on cars. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Luis is preceded in death by his parents, Donicio and Maria Christina Guerra.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria Guerra of Plainview; his three children: daughter, Lorelei Maria Guerra (Robby Balderas), sons Luis Guerra, Jr. (Daniella Martinez) and Justin Guerra all of Plainview; his brothers: Hector Guerra and Bobby Guerra, and his sisters, Irene Zapata and Norma Ornelas all of Plainview, and his fifteen grandchildren.
