Lisa Vaquera, 50, of Plainview passed away on August 12, 2020. Funeral Mass for Lisa will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, August 17, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.  There will be a Rosary recited at 6:00PM, on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Lemons Memorial Chapel.

She was born November 24, 1969 in Plainview to Armeldo and Yolanda Rodriquez Gonzales. Lisa married Arturo Vaquera and they had 31 happy years together. She had a green thumb and loved plants and flowers. At Our Lady of Guadalupe church she previously taught CCE classes while managing several local businesses. Lisa's favorite thing was shopping, especially for her grandchildren whom she loved to spoil.

Lisa is survived by one son: Matthew Vaquera and his wife Sarah, two daughters: Sarah Vaquera and Jenny Vaquera all of Plainview. Her mother Yolanda Gonzales of Plainview, one brother: Armeldo Gonzales Jr. of Plainview; two sisters Michelle Gonzales of New York and Denise Gonzales of Plainview; two grandchildren, nine nephews, one niece, and great nephew. Lisa was preceded in death by her Father.
