Linda Sue Baker was born on February 9, 1941 in Harmon County, Oklahoma to George and Imogene (Card) Hall. She and Darwin "Peewee" Baker were married on August 28, 1959, in Hart, Texas. They had over 53 wonderful years together. Linda was an avid reader and she loved to travel. She and her family traveled to almost all of the fifty states, through all the Canadian provinces except three, and to the Arctic Circle in Alaska. She particularly enjoyed British Columbia. Her favorite pastime of all was spending it with her grandchildren. She loved her 'grandbabies', and recently had discovered she was going to be a great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Linda was a longtime member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ.
Linda is survived by her husband, Peewee Baker of Plainview; her son, Kelly Baker of Galveston, Texas; her daughters: Paula Baker, and Teri Richardson and her husband, Steve, all of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren: Caitlin Henry, Erin Henry, and Dakota Baker, also of Odessa; and a sister, Zella Powell of Plainview. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters: Jean Kennedy and Frances Osthus.
