Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at First Christian Church,Liberal, KS, with Pastor Terry Ford officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00pm at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, KS.

She was born August 24, 1939 at Lewellen, NE, the daughter of Emmanuel and Dolly (Williams) Knaus.

She married Alan Orr December 23, 1973 at Wichita, KS. Leilani and Alan have resided in Liberal, KS for the past 26 years. She greatly loved and enjoyed being a homemaker, seamstress, gardener and baker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the First Christian Church of Liberal. She loved spending the cold winters in the warmth of South Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother- Kenny Knaus and one great grandson- Calvin Jake Dixon.

She is survived by husband Alan Orr; daughters, Gena Marie Nunez of Plainview, TX and Marsha Lynn Dixon of Lakin, KS.; three brothers, Bud Knaus of Denver, Colorado, Ray Knaus and wife Francis of Garden City, KS, and Carl Knaus and wife Carol of Garden City, KS; six grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
