Laura "Lori" Villarreal, 46 of Lubbock, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, June 15, 2020 at New Creation in Christ Church in Plainview with Pastor Mike Bueno officiating. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Lori was born on February 14, 1974 to Louis, Jr. and Janie (Riojas) Sanchez. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1992. Lori loved spending time with her family especially her grandbaby. She enjoyed taking pictures and listening to music.

Lori is survived by her husband BJ Berumen of Lubbock; one son, Rueben Villarreal of Lubbock; one daughter, Brianna Villarreal of Lubbock; her mother, Janie Riojas of Hale Center; two brothers, Israel Sanchez of Plainview and Louis Sanchez III of Lubbock; two sisters, Melissa Sanchez of Lubbock, Nancy Cornett of Dexter, MO; a half-sister, Delia Sanchez Hinojosa of Stanton, TX and one grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Sanchez, Jr., her grandparents, Louis , Sr. and Esabel Sanchez and Margarito and Teresa Riojas.
