Larry Lopez, 55 of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. Graveside services will be held in Plainview Cemetery on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00am. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Lemons Memorial Chapel in Plainview. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Larry was born on January 13, 1970, in Lubbock. His loving grandparents Jesse and Carmen Lopez raised him and loved him like their own. Larry was an avid 49er fan and enjoyed watching the games with his son Jeffrey. He enjoyed making wood crosses and doing woodwork. Larry was known for being a jokester, he always made those around him laugh. He will be immensely missed by his family.

He is survived by his son, Jefferey Lopez of Hereford, Texas; his wife, Carmen Hernandez Lopez; one brother, David Guerra and wife Maria of Edinburg, Texas; one sister, Melissa Martinez and husband Jose of Lockney, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Carmen Lopez; his biological mother, Delia Quintero Aguirre and one sister, Evangelina Lopez.
