Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Our Lady Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.

Larry was born on July 17, 1965 in Lubbock to Jose Cipriano and Olivia (Guerrero) Alvarado. He attended school in Hondo, Texas and later moved to Plainview.
Larry was a hard working man with a big heart and could befriend any stranger. He was a big jokester and could bring a smile to most. Larry was a good friend to many and he enjoyed spending the holidays with family. He enjoyed a profession as a painter. Larry will be greatly missed by many friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eric and Jose Alvarado.

Survivors include two daughters; Erica Monique Hernandez and Christina Hernandez; two sons, Larry Alvarado, Jr. and Joey Hernandez; 4 grandchildren and three sisters who loved him dearly, Maria Bonner and husband A.J., Deborah McCray and husband Leon, Jr. and Remie Hernandez and husband Jimmy.
