Kenneth "Doc" Wade, 72 of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Amarillo. There will be no services at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Kenneth “Doc” was born on November 26, 1953, in Texline, Texas to Don Wright and Pam Bass Wright. He attended school and graduated from high school in Odessa, Texas. Doc is a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam war. In 2007, he married Pam Harrelson in Big Lake, Texas.

Doc was a cowboy, and would always say, “every cowboy gets one good wife, one good dog, and one good home.”

Doc is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Pam Wright, his brother, Doug Wright, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Wade of Plainview, Texas.
