Juventino Salazar, 55 of Plainview, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022. A Memorial Mass will be at 2:00PM, Monday, January 17, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton officiating. Inurnment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Juventino was born March 30, 1966, in Monterrey, Mexico to Primo and Catalina Salazar. He was a hard-working man, he was a welder, and was the owner of his construction company in Lubbock. He loved riding motorcycles.
Juventino is survived by his parents, Primo and Catalina Salazar of Plainview; his grandfather, Ventura Grimaldo of Plainview; three daughters: Mercedez Salazar of Andrews, Texas, Jennifer Salazar of Santa Rosa, Texas and Stephanie Salazar of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren; one brother, Primo Salazar, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters: Lily Hernandez of Lubbock, Texas, Rachel Sanchez of Canyon, Texas and Lupe Salazar of Dallas, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother: Romana Grimaldo.

Juventino Salazar, de 55 años de Plainview, falleció el sábado 8 de enero de 2022 en Mexico. Una Misa conmemorativa será a las 2:00 p.m., el lunes 17 de enero de 2022, en la Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Iglesia Católica con el Padre Bill Anton oficiando. La urna seguirá en el Plainview Cemetery. Los arreglos se confían a Lemons Funeral Home.
Juventino nació el 30 de marzo de 1966, en Monterrey, Mexico, hijo de Primo y Catalina Salazar. Juventino era un hombre trabajador, era soldador y era el dueño de su empresa de construcción en Lubbock. Le encantaba manejar motocicletas.
A Juventino le sobreviven sus padres, Primo y Catalina Salazar de Plainview; su abuelo, Ventura Grimaldo de Plainview; tres hijas: Mercedez Salazar de Andrews, Texas, Jennifer Salazar de Santa Rosa, Texas y Stephanie Salazar de Austin, Texas; tres nietos; un hermano, Primo Salazar, Jr. de Amarillo, Texas; tres hermanas: Lily Hernández de Lubbock, Texas, Rachel Sánchez de Canyon, Texas y Lupe Salazar de Dallas, Texas.
Le precede en la muerte su abuela: Romana Grimaldo.
