On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Julio Perez of Floydada, Texas passed away at the age of 79 in Plainview, Texas. The family of Mr. Perez will host a Memorial Service at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Trinity Church in Floydada, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Julio Perez was born May 22, 1945, to Apolino and Dominga Perez. He was married to Josefina Zambrano Perez on February 16, 1972. They had one son, Roger Perez.

He led a plain and simple life dedicated to his wife and son. He was a hardworking farmhand in the same community for many years. He loved to play his guitar and sing. His hobbies included gardening and planting flowers for his beloved wife.

He was preceded in death by his wife Josefina Z. Perez, his parents, Apolino and Dominga Perez, one sister Victoria Duarte, five brothers, Santos, Jr, Filimon, Jessie and Freddy Perez. He is survived by his son, Roger Perez and a brother, Arelio.
