Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors between 6:00-7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Faye was born on January 29, 1924 in Comanche Texas to O.B. and Minnie White. She married Lewis A. Cox in August, 1940 in Clovis, NM. Together, they raised three sons. They remained married for 69 years until his passing in February, 2009.

Faye was a homemaker who always loved decorating and redecorating her home. Not much for television, she spent her time tending to her family and her home. She even enjoyed refinishing wood furniture. She loved her children and her grandchildren and will be missed by them.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one granddaughter, Julie.

Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, Gerald Cox and wife Carol of McKinney, Gary Cox and wife JoAnne of Lucas and Jackie Cox and wife Nancy of Plainview; three grandchildren, Michael and wife Leslie, Larry and wife Thelma, Randy and wife KilSun and 8 great grandchildren, Dillon, Grayson, Raegan, Austin, Darrian, Tonya, Keysha and Sebastian. She is also survived by a dear niece, Colleen Newman, nephew, Kenneth Rich and a precious sister-in-law, Chris Mitchell.
