Juanita Torres, 46 of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Elim Worship Center with Pastor Roger Munoz officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Juanita was born on April 9, 1974 in Lockney, Texas to Salvador and Juanita (Delgado) Torres. Juanita enjoyed crocheting and was very talented with arts and crafts.  She loved taking care of children and was a mother figure to many. Juanita was peace and love.

She is survived by one son, Bryan Giovanni Torres of Plainview; her father, Salvador Torres of Minnesota; one brother, Juan (Ester) Castillo of Dallas; six sisters, Rosa Aljazzai of Oklahoma City, OK, AltaGracia Castillo of Lubbock, Mary Ester (Bill) O'Quin of Del Rio, Emily Quintana of Oklahoma City, OK, Consuelo DeLaTorre of Dumas and Patricia Torres (Matilde Borgas) of Plainview. She is preceeded in death by one daughter, Anayie Lopez and her mother, Juanita D. Torres.
