Juanita C. Garcia, 73 of Plainview, passed away on August 9, 2020. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2020 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Juanita was born on September 7, 1946 in Monte Alto, Texas to Agapito and Francisca (Cavazos) Garcia. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Juanita was a lifelong catholic and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Sanchez of Plainview; one daughter, Genie (Alex) Soto of Plainview; a granddaughter, Valerie Soto of Plainview; a great granddaughter, Danielle Quintanilla; one brother, Gume Garcia of Plainview and one sister, Francis Guebara of Bryan, Texas. She is preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Isaiah and Martin Hernandez; both parents; two brothers, Juan and Pedro Garcia and one sister, Mary Garcia.
