Juana B. Gonzales, age 84, passed away at her home on March 3, 2017 surrounded by her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M., Monday, March 6, 2017 in the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Juana was born on January 17, 1933 to Angel and Maria (Rios) Barajas in Ahuijullo, Jalisco, Mexico. She married Andres Gonzales, on February 11, 1977 in Plainview. Juana was blessed with 12 children. Juana loved having a large family and always put them first. She also had a love for singing and dancing.  When one visits her home, her love for flowers and gardening was evident. The smell of honeysuckle greets you at her front door, and the brightly colored roses are a beautiful sight.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Guadalupe Ramos, Angel Ramos, Tony Ramos, Jessie Ramos; grandchildren, Sophia Ramos, Gabriel Ramos, Sheryl Ramos and her brothers, Rojelio Barajas and Ruben Barajas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of over 40 years, Andres Gonzales; her children, Joe Ramos of Lubbock, Maria Sanchez of Fort Worth, Estella Gomez of Keller, Gabriel Ramos of Corpus Christi, Ray Ramos of Corpus Christi, Mike Ramos of Amarillo, Tino Ramos of Amarillo, Andrea DeLeon of Plainview, 45 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
