Josie Arrizola Lee, 89 of Plainview, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Celebration of Life service at 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Josie was born on October 1, 1936, in Panna Maria, Texas to Vidal and Paula Garza. She worked in quality control at Cargill for many years.

Josie’s faith as a Jehovah’s Witness was the foundation of her life, bringing her deep joy and peace. She found comfort and happiness in worship, often lifting her voice in song and praise. Josie treasured life’s simple pleasures, especially sharing meals, and going out to eat,  Dairy Queen was her favorite. She loved to travel and experience new places, but nothing meant more to her than the time she spent with her family. Those moments, filled with love, laughter, and togetherness, were what she cherished most.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Rodolfo Arrizola (Diamantina), David Arrizola, and Johnny Arrizola; two daughters, Elsa Zamora (Luis), and Josie Irby; twenty-one grandchildren, forty-four great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a newborn son, Nicholas Arrizola, and an eighteen-year-old son, Nicholas Arrizola; her grandson, Rodolfo Arrizola, Jr.; her parents, Vidal and Paula Garza; three brothers, Lorenzo Garza, Jesus Garza, and Adelino Garza; and five sisters, Petra Garza, Dolores Garza Trujillo, Virginia Garza Rios, Francisca Laabs, and Adelina Garza Rodriguez.
