Obituary
Jose Luis Villegas, 72 of Muleshoe, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Jose was born on September 5, 1948 in San Elizario, Texas to Delfino and Justina (Gomez) Villegas. Jose was a hard working man who enjoyed spending time helping others. He was a selfless loving man, who would have given all he had to those in need. His last occupation was as a brick layer. Singing was his passion. Jose loved being around his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jose has gone to be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will be dearly missed by all.
Jose is survived by Feliz Valenzuela: His son: Jose Martin Villegas (Anita) of Amarillo; four daughters: Maria Villegas of Bovina, Texas, Gaby Pena (Robert) of Decatur, Texas, Cindy Pena (Juan) of Tioga, Texas, and Nora Lee Villegas (Frankie Delgado) of Muleshoe; two brothers: Daniel Villegas of Lovington, New Mexico, and Ruben Villegas of Muleshoe; one sister: Rosa Quezada of Plains, Texas; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
