Jose Nieves Daniel, Jr., age 69, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Family will have visitation from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, with a prayer service at 6:00pm, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral service for Mr. Daniel will be held at 10:00am, Monday, March 23, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Jose Nieves Daniel Jr was born on April 16, 1956 in Eagles Pass, Tx to Jose Nieves Daniel Sr and Juanita Sanchez Daniel. Jose spent many years working on the farm and working as a mechanic. He longed to be a bull rider. Jose was a tremendous father, to Victoria Rosalinda Ortiz, Gloria Maria Daniel, Rosie Daniel, and was a son, brother, uncle and grandfather and was always there for his family. Jose was a faithful servant and praised God. He had a personal relationship with God.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Victoria Rosalinda Ortiz, Gloria Maria Daniel, Rosie Daniel; 8 grandchildren; his siblings; Maria Victoria Sanchez of Garland, Tx, Maria Ninfa Castillo of Plainview, Tx, Arturo Daniel of Plainview, Tx, Gloria Padron of Hutchins, Tx, Jose Angel Daniel of Plainview, TX Rosa Castillo of Plainview, Tx Flor D. Gloria of Fortworth Tx Edward Daniel of Garland Tx Norma Daniel of Plainview, Tx.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jose Nieves Daniel Sr and Juanita Sanchez Daniel; one nephew, Adam Raymondlee Zuniga.
