John Glynn Sloan, 57 of Lubbock, passed away, Sunday, December 5, 2021. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, December 16, 2021, in Plainview Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

John was born on May 24, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas to John J. and Billie Glynn (McAdams) Sloan. He attended schools in Lubbock and graduated from Monterey High School in 1982. He enjoyed video games, card games all music, and played the trumpet and piano. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lubbock. John was also a semi-professional bowler during the 1980's and early 1990's and won many awards.

John is survived by his mother, Billie Glynn Sloan of Lubbock; one sister, Lisa Arp of Lubbock; and one niece, Sloan Katherine Arp of Lubbock. He is preceded in death by his father, John J. Sloan and his grandparents, JB and Berniece McAdams and Grace Sloan.
