John Henry Robinson, 65 of Plainview, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020.  A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11 o' clock in the morning on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Bro Carl Smiley officiating.  Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery.  Mr. Robinson will lie in repose from noon until 8 o' clock in the evening on Friday at the funeral home.  Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

John was born on August 2, 1955 to Jimmy and Sadie Robinson in Plainview, TX.  He graduated from Hart High School in 1975.  John was a mechanic most of his life. Mr. Robinson worked for many years at Henry Tire Company. He enjoyed playing dominoes and watching football; his favorite team being the San Francisco 49ers.  John was a comedian and loved to make people laugh.  He was also a family man and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy and Sadie Robinson; and one nephew: Darren Springer and Daniel Christopher Robinson.

John is survived by two daughters: Ashley Robinson and husband Davan Taylor of Lubbock and Amber Robinson of Plainview; two brothers: Donald Robinson of Plainview and Jimmy Robinson of Canyon; five sisters: Freddie Mae Springer, Gloria Jean Robinson, Francis William, Clara Robinson, and Shirley Ann Alyer all of Ft. Worth; and two grandchildren: Harleigh Robinson and Nolan Taylor.
