Plainview- John Emigmenio Valenzulea III, 46, of Plainview passed away on February 1, 2015 in Plainview. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Martinez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Valenzuela was born on June 18, 1968 in Plainview, Texas to John Valenzuela and Mary (Tijerina) Aguilar. He was a former driver for Caprock Community Action. John was known to many for his love of the Dallas Cowboys, but his greatest passion in life was preaching the word of God, and always trying to find a way to pass the word of the Lord to anyone he met. He was always plugged into the word of God. Mr. Valenzuela was always a family man, and had a true love for his family. He was a member of New Life Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Eulojio and Maria Tijerina, paternal grandparents; John Valenzuela and Josephina Vera, sisters; Veronica Valenzuela, Julia Maria Aguliar, and step-grandmother Margarita Valenzuela. Those left to cherish his memory are; his parents, John Valenzuela Jr., and Mary L. Aguilar, one sister; Susan Valenzuela, three nephews; Enrique Hernandez Jr., Errin J. Hernandez, Eonn L. Hernandez, five nieces; Julie Hernandez, Rebekkah Valenzuela, Angel Valenzuela, Cynthia Amaya, Samantha Amaya, eight grand- nieces, and two grand- nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend Richard Adame.
