Jessie Morales, Jr., 49 of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Funeral service for Mr. Morales will be at 10:00am, Friday, March 14, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Petersburg, Texas. Burial will follow in Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Jessie was born in Littlefield, Texas to the late Jessie Morales, Sr., and Enedina Salazar on December 31, 1975.

Jessie was a collector of old magazines, low riders, miniature semi-trucks. His favorite shows were Yellowstone and CSI, and a variety of other shows and his favorite football team were the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed spending time watching movies, listening to music, making keychains, and playing with RC remote control cars. He especially enjoyed his time spent with his children.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jessie Morales, Sr., and his grandson, Samael Lopez.

Jessie is survived by his son, Sean Morales of Lubbock, Texas, his three daughters, Cheyanne Gardner of New York, NY, Jacqueline Martinez of Amarillo, and Breanna Martinez of Guymon, OK; his step-children, Allison Whitehead  of Cleburn, Texas, Zachary Garcia of Petersburg; his mother, Enedina Marquez and step-father, Daniel Marquez, of Petersburg, Texas; his step-father, David Rangel of Amherst, Texas; five brothers, Julian Andrew Marquez of Lipan, Texas, and Chris Morales of New Mexico, Jeremy Morales of Clovis, NM, CJ Morales of Littlefield, and JoJo Morales; two sisters, Elizabeth Morales of Lubbock, and Rosa Anna Rangel of Plainview, Texas; one grandchild, and may relatives from Littlefield, Texas.
