Plainview-Jesse Jo Richardson, 93, of Plainview, went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 26, 2014. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 20 2014 in Lemons Memorial Chapel with Brother Jim Reimbolt officiating. Interment will follow the service in Plainview Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Richardson was born on January 6, 1921 in Sadler, TX to the late Jesse Jo Sr. and Leona Belle (Walker) Richardson. He married Irene (Reeves) on September 22, 1942 in Little Rock, AR. She preceded him in death in 2009. He worked for thirty six years as a rural mail carrier for the United States postal service in Plainview. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of the Army Air force, a member of the V.F.W., and the American Legion. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainview. Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his wife Irene, and one brother James Lee Richardson, two sisters; Vita Short, and Louise Terry. Those left to cherish his memory are; one son, Mike Richardson and wife Lila; one daughter, Deborah Jo Miller. He also leaves behind four grandchildren; Stephen Miller, Mike Jr. and wife Shanna, Cody and wife Tonya, Jesse III and wife Suzette, as well as six great-grandchildern; Cody Jr., and Katy Jo, Tripp, and Lindi, and Jace, and Brooke.
