IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jesse Antonio
Perez
March 14, 1969 – July 5, 2022
Jesus "Jesse" Perez, 53 of Plainview, was called home unexpectedly, to be with Jesus on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Funeral Service for Mr. Perez will be at 11:00am, Friday, July 15, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Martinez of Trinity Life Church officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be held from 6pm-8pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.
Jesse was born on March 14, 1969, to Maria Esther Amaya Perez and Raymundo V. Perez in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in Plainview, Texas and enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, but always returned home to Plainview. He was gifted and talented in different areas of his life, anything that his hands touched, he could fix. Jesse spent his free time enjoying woodwork, mechanics, electronics, drawing, 80's music, and movies. He had an affinity for animals. There was never an animal he would pass without a gesture of affection. Jesse will be remembered for his sense of humor, encouraging words, strong work ethic, his love for his family and friends, as well as his generous heart.
He is preceded in death by his father, Raymundo V. Perez.
Jesse is survived by his loving Fiancé Jani Alcozer of Plainview; daughter, Desiree Perez and partner Cody Zapata of Plainview; his mother Maria Esther Amaya Perez and Hilario Gonzalez of Lockney; sister Maria Christina Silva of Plainview; two nephews: Christopher Silva and family and Marc Silva and family all of Lubbock, as well as many loved great-nephews, nieces, and cousins, and we could not forget his beloved fur baby, Bobble.
The Family would like to extend their gratitude to Lemons Funeral Home for their compassion and empathy during this time of sorrow, as well as the community of Plainview for their help in raising donations.
