Jesse was born on July 29, 1969, in Hale County, Texas to Joe T. and Dora (Rodriguez) Jimenez. He was currently working on getting his CDL so that he could travel the states.
Jesse had an appreciation for nature, he was amazed by the trees, flowers, the sounds the birds made, which he loved listening to, insects, even having a spider as a pet for many years, and he loved animals. He found pleasure in fishing, watching the sunrise and sunset, swimming in the lakes, and going to the mountains. Besides nature, Jesse enjoyed reading, drawing, watching any sports, welding, reading blueprints, fixing anything, helping the suffering and he was not afraid of trying new foods.
Most importantly, Jesse loved taking care of his parents and spending time with them, as well as his brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews.
Jesse is survived by his father, Joe T. Jimenez of Hale Center; three brothers, Joe Jimenez, Jr. of Lubbock, Alfred and Sara Jimenez of Levelland, and Eliud Jimenez of North Richland Hills; eight sisters, Betty Jimenez of Plainview, Eva and Juan Vara of Hale Center, Sandy Jimenez and Valerie Bales of Fort Myers, FL, Liza Jimenez of Plainview, Nina Jimenez of Richmond, Lydia R. Jimenez of Euless, Rhoda Jimenez of Fort Worth, and Anna J and Rodney Kelley of Plainview; thirty nieces and nephews; eighty four great nieces and nephews and eight great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dora Jimenez; three nieces, Monica Rubio, Kasandra Valdez, and Alexis Solis; and one nephew, Jeremiah Jimenez.
